DMB Media Player

Play Digital Signage, Video-On-Demand and
Digital Menu Board screens

The DMB Media Player is an application supporting fully configurable screen layouts and digital asset playback with a robust set of digital signage, video-on-demand and digital menu board features. The DMB Media Player runs on the AmiNet130/AmiNet530 set-top boxes, as well as Windows, Linux, and Mac platforms offering customers digital signage, video-on-demand and digital menu boards as a software application or as a plug-and-play set-top box appliance. Screens can be built and distributed using Cilutions' DMB Screen Builder and DMB Content Distribution applications.

DMB Media Player as Video-On-Demand/Touch Screen Kiosk
Cilutions' DMB Media Player can be used as a video-on-demand or touch screen kiosk application. With no additional software or hardware requirements, the DMB Media Player works with major touch screen monitors on the market today. Our DMB Media Player allows you to easily switch between a classic digital signage screen and a user-interactive video-on-demand screen by just changing the channel. This allows a customer to have some channels dedicated to remotely controlled digital signage screens and other channels dedicated to video-on-demand screens. The current active screen, whether digital signage or video-on-demand, can be remotely set from a customer's headquarters - placing no requirements on local personnel.

DMB Media Player as Digital Menu/Reader Board
Cilutions' DMB Media Player can be used as a digital menu or reader board application. Menu boards can be used in restaurants to offer up-to-the-minute pricing and menu information. Similarly, reader boards can be used in a variety of locations, including hotels and airports, offering viewers event scheduling data with dynamic updating; functions not available with traditional static signage.

DMB Media Player on the AmiNET130 Set-Top Box
Cilutions' DMB Media Player can be used to offer digital signage, video-on-demand and digital menu boards on Amino's AmiNET130 Set-Top Box. The DMB Media Player will perform an NFS mount to a shared drive where digital assets are stored and then played back on this diskless set-top box. In this configuration, screens can then be changed simply by updating the files on the network's shared drive. In this way, a network operator can offer digital signage, video-on-demand and digital menu boards with no additional receiver software.
