How to Upgrade the STB Image in an Enterprise Network

To upgrade or reflash one or more Amino STBs in an enterprise network contact support@cilutions.com to request the management software needed to perform the upgrade. The software consists of a Debian Linux VMWare image with the Amino Multicast Loader image included. This is will let an administrator on the customer's enterprise network start up a multicast carousel and publish an upgrade image (e.g., for the AmiNet140) to the network. Then the administrator can issue commands (from the Debian Linux VMWare instance) to one or more STBs to accept the image and upgrade themselves. The process typically take a few minutes.

Note that there exists a far simpler method for upgrading STBs. One which does not entail running a Multicast Loader. Search for "Upgrade" in the support forums to find a description of this alternative method.
