Crestron Commands Issued to Amino STBs

Postby Edward.P » Thu Sep 01, 2011 1:48 pm

I have a Crestron Control System (see: www.crestron.com) and want to be able to issue commands to individual Amino A130 STBs to emulate an I/R Remote Control pointed at the STB. Is this possible? The commands would be over the IP network path between the Crestron Controller and each STB.

You can issue Remote I/R commands over the IP connection from the Crestron controller to the STB. The packet format is:

UDP Packet:
    Source Port: (anything)
    Destination Port: 9999

The UDP Packet payload is an ascii string containing one of the following Remote I/R commands:
KEY_0 (corresponds to ascii hex: 0x4b 0x45 0x59 0x5f 0x30 0x00)
KEY_1
KEY_2
KEY_3
KEY_4
KEY_5
KEY_6
KEY_7
KEY_8
KEY_9
KEY_10
(up through KEY_96)
KEY_OK
KEY_ENTER
KEY_BACK
KEY_STOP
KEY_GUIDE
KEY_UP
KEY_DOWN
KEY_LEFT
KEY_RIGHT
KEY_NEXT
KEY_PGUP
KEY_PGDOWN
KEY_MENU
KEY_STANDBY
